Puntit isn’t just a globally popular sportsbook that caters to players in India. On the contrary, this betting site first launched in India back in 2025 before going global over the last few years. It originated in India, and this is still the market it primarily aims its services at.

Licensed from Curacao, Puntit puts a focus and emphasis on cricket betting, supports localised payment options for Indians, and has a clean, simplistic user interface that helps it stand out from the many other betting sites Indians can choose from. Discover why else this local favourite continues to be a popular hit with Indians in the rest of this Puntit sportsbook review.

Puntit Sports Bonuses & Promotions
Puntit is not what I would call a “bonus-heavy” sportsbook. On the contrary, there aren’t too many deals for you to claim. I’m not sure about you, but I actually rather like this, as it means I don’t get bogged down in playthrough rates when trying to withdraw my winnings. Of course, I’m not saying that there are no promos at all. There are, and I’m going to run the rule over them for you here.
Welcome Bonus
Puntit’s welcome bonus has increased since I first signed up there. Over the last year, it has increased to a 200% match deposit bonus, which is now worth up to ₹50,000. On top of that, the welcome deal now includes a ₹250 free bet on top, as soon as you deposit ₹500 or more into your account.

The terms and conditions for Puntit’s welcome bonus cover both the cash bonus and free bet part.
For the cash bonus, you should know that it expires within 14 days of being claimed, and that you can only use the bonus funds on minimum odds of 1.90 or higher. All in all, the deposit and bonus combined have 16 playthrough rates, which you have 30 days to clear.
When wagering on ACCAs, only one bet will count towards wagering, and not all markets count towards cleaning playthrough rates. Any winnings won via bonus funds are capped at 5x the value of the bonus.
As for the free bet, this can only be used on selections with odds of 1.90 or higher, and returns (profit) can exceed the total value of the stake. I found these terms to be reasonable, but there are definitely more favourable bonuses online if you care to look around.
Other Promotions
As mentioned, Puntit’s sportsbook isn’t exactly bursting at the seams with other promos and bonuses. However, I was able to put my hands on a couple while playing there, even if they weren’t exactly what I would call regular. These deals include:
- Free Bets: While not exactly a common occurrence, I’d encourage you to check the expiration dates on these sporadic offers. The T&Cs also differ from promo to promo. I found bonuses where winnings were capped at ₹2,500,000 a day, but different offers had variable playthrough rates, not to mention that they were only valid on selected markets.
- Weekly Sports Boost: Wager five bets worth ₹500 or more on any selected sports markets and selections to receive a free ₹500 bet.
- Weekly Cricket Boost: Bet ₹500 or more on selected cricket bets (through five bets) to receive a ₹500 free bet on cricket selections.
- VIP Scheme: While Puntit does have a VIP scheme, it isn’t a conventional one. You’re automatically enrolled when you sign up, with perks including personalised reload bonuses, cashback, lower wagering requirements, and other bespoke bonuses. This at least explains the lack of mainstream offers on the promotions page, as most offers are tied to you personally.
As mentioned, these promotions won’t always be available, so I encourage you to check the current promos and bonuses at Puntit before signing up. Furthermore, it is also worth noting that Puntit’s casino and live casino sections have their own dedicated welcome bonuses.
Sports Betting Markets at Puntit
Puntit heavily focuses on cricket, which isn’t surprising given its primary audience. This includes extensive coverage of the IPL, major ICC events, most test matches, and many domestic leagues from around the world. There’s also plenty of amateur cricket action for you to have a crack at.
Puntit features prominently on our best cricket betting sites ranking.

There are around 40 sports markets supported in all at Puntit, with 15 or so core markets the most popular with Indian bettors. I found that these included:
- Cricket
- Football
- Tennis
- American Football
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Boxing
- eSports
- Formula 1
- Horse Racing
- Rugby
- Table Tennis
- and others
Of course, you don’t have to place straight-up “to win” bets at Puntit. The bookmaker supports a few different ways to bet. While you could argue that it lacks some of the key features found at bigger rivals, there’s more than enough to cater to casual bettors, including these features:
Live In-Play Betting
Puntit supports live betting, and you can find a host of ongoing and upcoming live bets in its live odds section. The only live streaming events showcased at Puntit are exceptionally selective, and they are broadcast under Puntit TV.

Availability depends on the licensing and broadcast rights of the sports available. On the plus side, there is a top-notch live stats centre. The live match tracker (with 2D visual graphics) and stats centre provide an abundance of information for you to make accurate decisions about your bets, for instance, if you were thinking of cashing out early.
Early Cashout Options
As alluded to above, Puntit’s sportsbook absolutely supports early cash-out options, but only for selected live markets. Unlike some of its rivals, Puntit doesn’t support partial cashout, and if you cash out bets early, they won’t count towards the wagering requirements of any bets where you need to clear turnover rates.
A small commission is paid to Puntit when you cashout early, but that’s true of most of its rivals. Look for the “cash out icon” on selected bets to see if this option is available to you.
Betting Options and Odds
Puntit Sports allows you to choose between decimal, American, fractional, Indonesian, and Hong Kong odds when betting, bearing in mind that some odds are better suited to some sports than others.
In terms of betting options, you can opt for Bet Builder or ACCA options. The Bet Builder option is primarily available for cricket and football bets at Puntit and offers deeper market selections.
Accumulators are valid on most sports, and some ACCA insurance opportunities did arise when I played there, so that’s good to know if parlays are your forte. Puntit is also home to a Lucky Dip option, which allows you to choose a sport, name your stake, and receive a bet at random, too. I’ll talk more about this in a moment or two.
Deposits and Withdrawals at Puntit Sports
Indian rupees are, rather obviously, accepted at Puntit. In fact, if you’re playing from India, this is the favoured currency. It’s not your only option, though, with BTC, ETH, LTC, and USDT also supported. Between those payment providers, you can hope to deposit and (in some cases) withdraw using the following options:
Puntit Sports Payment Providers
- AstroPay
- Bank Transfers
- Cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Tether)
- Google Pay
- MasterCard
- IMPS
- NetBanking
- Paytm
- PhonePe
- UPI
- VISA
Deposits
I found that the minimum deposit limits at Puntit to be fairly rigid, with starting caps of ₹500 and ₹1,000 based on your method of choice. Upper limits can hit heights of ₹5,00,000, and that should be more than enough for most sports bettors. No fees are applied to deposits, which is a relief. Of course, there may still be network fees applied, but that only applies to cryptocurrencies.
Withdrawals
You’re absolutely going to need to clear Puntit’s KYC process before you withdraw. Generally, I found withdrawal caps to start at ₹1,000, unless you intend to use IMPS or cryptocurrency options, in which case they are ₹2,000.
Upper withdrawal limits vary from ₹50,000 with UPI to ₹2,00,000 with IMPS, and cryptocurrency withdrawals are uncapped. The latter are also the fastest payment methods, taking under an hour, while other transaction times vary from 24 to 72 hours. No fees are applied across the board, which is great.

Is Puntit Safe and Legal in India?
Puntit holds dual licences from the Government of Curaçao and the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC). The UKGC licence is particularly notable as it represents one of the most stringent regulatory standards in the global gambling industry, covering player protection, fair play, and responsible gambling requirements.
Puntit launched in India in 2025 and was designed with the Indian market as its primary focus from the outset. This India-first approach means that the platform, payment options, and customer support are all optimised for Indian players rather than being adapted from a platform originally designed for another market.
The site uses SSL encryption for data protection and supports responsible gambling tools including deposit limits, session time reminders, and self-exclusion options.
At StrikeOdds, we tested Puntit’s full registration, deposit, gameplay, and withdrawal process. The platform performed well across all stages, and we consider it a safe option for Indian players.
Support and Security
I found Puntit’s support options to be something of a mixed bag. I like the fact that you can reach out to live chat and email, and there is a help centre. However, it can sometimes take up to 30 minutes to receive support from live chat, email isn’t the fastest option, and the help centre tends to be very vague and unspecific in terms of the questions it answers. I believe that Puntit could make more effort here.
Puntit holds a Curacao-issued gambling license, and is operated by White Star B.V. The sportsbook has proven to be such a success that it has recently expanded to the UK, obtaining a UKGC license along the way. You simply can’t acquire one of those without being a trusted bookmaker. That naturally extends to Puntit’s original Indian domain, which supports SSL encryption, 2FA protection, responsible gambling tools, and odds that are on par with what I’ve seen at other leading betting sites.
Responsible Gambling
Puntit definitely makes an effort to offer its players the safest way to play possible. Indians can rely on tools that include deposit and wager caps, they can exploit time-out and self-exclusion tools to take a break at any time. The self-assessment test falls a bit flat, but Puntit is affiliated with GamCare and Gamblers Anonymous, and they can put you in direct contact with them, which only highlights that they care about your well-being when betting.
Puntit Sports: 3 Things to Consider

The Lucky Dip
With Puntit’s Lucky Dip option, you can effectively have a punt on something at random. Choose whatever sport (market) you want to bet on, and select your stake. You can then spin a wheel, and you’ll randomly receive a selection to bet on. This option is only valid on singles, and all markets are win-only. Finally, Dead Heat Rules apply to any bets you make using the Lucky Dip option.
Puntit’s Android App
Puntit supports an Android app, but regrettably, there isn’t one for iOS users. This app makes use of the PWA model, not a traditional APK file. In short, this means that you simply add the app to your home screen, and it works like a streamlined version of the site in your browser. Personally, I prefer a dedicated app, but this one works well enough on my device.
Cross-Match Combos
This isn’t always possible at Indian bookmakers, so I was delighted to see it at Puntit. The Bet Builder supports cross-match combos – namely, between cricket and football matches. This allows you to cover all your favourite sports teams with one bet and create the ultimate accumulator.
Final Verdict
PuntIt is an Indian favourite and with good reason. It supports excellent depth when it comes to cricket bets, and there are some nifty and, in some cases, original features at play, including cross-match combo betting and the Lucky Dip option. Not everything is rosy, and I’d want to see more effort made with customer support and possibly lower playthrough rates on bonuses. However, at face value, PuntIt is one of the better Indian betting sites you can choose from, and that’s reflected in my rating.
